• Updating review – the plugin has gone through several revisions in the last 1-2 weeks and things seem to work again. The security vulnerabilities just took way too long to address and the way they handled the situation by not alerting the users is still unacceptable.

    Definitely agree. We had a couple of things fail all at once. The lead developer was unable to focus on the plugin because of life factors, our other developer believed the issue to be smaller (and thus quicker), and it appears to us that WP increased their security requirements. All together, a project that initially was expected to take 4 days ended up taking 4 weeks. Not acceptable for anyone. And, like you said, our confusion led to poor communication which caused confusion for users. We’ll aim to do better.
