I have been using Mailster for Joomla several years and have found it excellent. It does exactly what I want. Its support is also great.

I have had an installation of Joomla only because of Mailster.

Now with the same functionality Mailster has also been ported to Word Press. I have tested it and everything seems to work as good as in the Joomla version.

  • Hi Tomas, When I was searching the net for an alternative to Mailman, I think I saw a few of your posts, from a few years back looking for the same thing. I think you’re the person to ask this too… How is this first release really working? I want to know, because I was within days of launching a Mailman system, the only think holding me back was how the web archive of messages looked, I thought not very user friendly for a public archive. I’m a bit nervous to install such a new plug-in, if I do, it will need to be well supported as far as bug fixes etc…

How are you really finding this Mailster for WP? Do you have a site that I could look at it on? Or does anyone else? Thank you for the feedback.

I’m not using Mailster for the front end, which I think is what you are asking for. I haven’t had any severe problems with Mailster for Joomla, which looks and behaves exactly as the WP Mailster. The minor problems I have had have always fast been sorted out with the help from the plug-in author.
