When I download analytics report by using “Analytics > Categories > Show: Single Category” and click the download button on the bottom.

And I will get the report with ALL categories products instead of the SINGLE category products which I set on the page top.

Did I using the wrong way?

    Hi there,

The way you describe it sounds correct. On my test site, for instance, I’ve selected the category Tshirts, like so:

Shows that t-shirts is the category selected to be shown

Once selected, it updates the table at the bottom according to the category selected:

Product table reflects the category selected

The table should be the same as what you’d get in the CSV file when you click download. This was true for me as I stepped through this process on a sandbox site where the minimum plugins were active. This was the CSV, which is the same as the product table:

    Resulting CSV

It sounds like you’re using it the right way, but it’s possible that another one of your plugins is influencing the result. Do you have many other plugins installed? If yes, you may need to run a conflict test to checked.

The least disruptive way of doing that is by using the Troubleshooting mode of Health Check & Troubleshooting. It simulates disabling your theme and plugins, so that you can reactivate only the necessary ones (WooCommerce, in this case) to test. It won’t affect your site for anyone else, nly you will see the changes.

    Let us know the outcome.

@eastofwest Hi, I found a pattern. If the CSV report can be downloaded directly on page, the data will be correct! But if the CSV report sent by email link, the data will be wrong.

I only use these two plugins:
    – WooCommerce 5.1.0
    – WP Mail SMTP 2.7.0

    Theme: Twenty Nineteen 1.7 + WordPress 5.5.3

    For your reference.
