the wysiwyg editor is changing my < br / > tags to < p> tags

  • Turn off the WYSIWYG editor, (Options > Writing > 1st Check Box) and see if you can do it that way. Then if it does work try turning the WYSIWYG editor back on if you prefer it that way,

    awesome, i didn’t think that i could turn that off…. but, unfortunately, there’s still that space between the word and the image…..

    that’s most likely because once you turn it back on, things are “autocorrected” again when you edit ‘n’ save that page.
