The WYSIWYG forces unwanted font size/styling

    As soon as I edit a something in the editor (even if just a linebreak) the editor wraps the closest paragraph with the following style:

    <span style=”line-height: 1.714285714; font-size: 1rem;”>…</span>

    Does anyone know why? Is this a bug in 3.5? I haven’t really experienced the problem in any of my other (around 20) wordpress installation.

    I don’t even know where to begin debugging.

    Solved it, just learned that the ‘editor-style.css’ in a theme does some spooky stuff.

    Hallo antonysastre, could you please explain me how did you get rid of this?
    I’m facing the same issue.

    Same problem here on multiple websites. I was using my own version of editor-style.css, but overwriting this file with the original WP file didn’t work. Any suggestions?

    Hi, I too am experiencing this, and despite carefully reading each post I cannot see what is needed in order to solve it (Andrew Nevins – it’s not helpful saying “Did you read the second post” when it’s obvious that eaglejohn has TRIED to fix it by replacing editor-style.css… did you read HIS post?) So if anyone knows what is needed to stop tis behaviour please post it here. On my sites at any rate with largely simple 2012 themes I get paragraphs of text which are smaller in font size because of this, and it’s not reasonable to tell my users to start editing HTML… that’s the reason we use WordPress because you don’t need to know HTML to get stuff published.

    Rant over, any ideas?
