the_content not showing on any of the pages or posts

  • I am setting up a small webshop using the Woocommerce theme Mystile. It’s on the verge of going live but the page content suddenly stopped showing up during tests. The rest of the website still works as it should it’s just the content. Using the inspector I found that <?php the_content(); ?> isn’t showing up at all.

    I have Googled the problem and found no solution yet. Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

    Important to know:
    – It worked not too long ago and no notable changes have been made since
    – It’s on every page and post (different page templates have been assigned)
    – Plugins have been checked
    – <?php the_content(); ?> is not showing up in the inspector but the code hasn’t been altered in weeks (though that was nothing more than CSS)
    – A couple updates were available at the time the issue occurred but these updates did not fix the issue

    – Unfortunately, your currently used theme is not in the www.ads-software.com/themes/ directory:
    https://www.ads-software.com/themes/search/Mystile/

    – These forums are for free themes available in the WordPress theme directory at www.ads-software.com/themes/. So please contact the developer/vendor directly for support with your question. You’ll be more likely to find a good answer from them, for they have the access to its code. Forum volunteers are not given access to commercial/custom products, so they would not know why your /custom/commercial theme or plugin is not working properly.     Oh ok I get it, sorry about that. Unfortunately they don’t provide support to free users (theme was free) haha. I’ll figure something out.
