the_excerpt Reloaded – plugin

In my newest mission to bend WordPress to my will, I’ve realized a couple good things about WordPress plugins: the first comes about when you get to name them. The second is, often you need but minor alterations to existing WordPress functions to come up with something divergent enough, but in some moderately useful way, to warrant release to the wilds.
Hence: the_excerpt Reloaded. I won’t bore you with the story of it’s origins from hack to plugin. I will point you to its wiki page, where you can learn more about the plugin, and find the download link (if so inclined):
