the_excerpt_reloaded

hi
i downloaded a theme and it has this in the header

<?php the_excerpt_reloaded(55, ”, ‘rss’, false); ?>

when i make it the default theme it shows me an eror

can anyone tell me what do i need to do without removing this code from the theme to get it workinig
