Theme 2017 Adv. Doesn’t Randomize Header Pics

Using Twenty Seventeen with Advanced Twenty Seventeen Advanced plugin. Turned off the static front page to get the sidebar back. Used the Advanced plugin to do customization of the header logo type, etc. (like it much). This morning I woke up to find all the header images gone – back to the original 2017 pic. The plugin seemed to require I create a child-theme so I did. Now I rebuilt everything and it looks fine but the images do not randomize. Which ever I click last sticks.
