Theme Advice Required

  • Can anyone recommend a theme with the following requirements.

    A header:
    Image + Text + search form
    Blog
    Title (ideally use a CSS Class to control formatting)
    No Category listed, or user or date
    Details with lots of <HTML> tags with CSS Class references
    No posted by or when
    Comments (Total) (Left aligned)
    Leave Comment

    Search Results: only show TITLE or TITLE and first 250 chars

    Right Sidebar for ADVERTS

    I am very new to this, but I am slowly realising it is not as easy, as I had thought, because I want to use WP as a fixed layout data resource, for information about antique items, where comments would enhance the original information. All data would be found via the search box.

  • You’re probably best looking for a theme that ticks most of your requirement boxes and then modifying it to remove/add any additional functionality. Try looking for a two-column, right-sidebar blog theme.
