• Hi,

I recently purchased a theme from Themeforest named BigStream: https://themeforest.net/item/bigstream-multipurpose-onemulti-page-theme/10677247

It’s currently installed and deployed on https://lastlocal.in/onboard

The theme currently gives me an option to use a “compact” menu rather than using a standard menu for a one-page theme. I’ve imported the demo data and added the compact menu option but I’m facing a few issues that I would greatly appreciate to get some help with.

This is how I want my site to look like before I edit the content: https://demo.freshface.net/bigstream/hipster-demo/

I’ve chosen this particular page and assigned it to the home page, but as you can see, there are clearly 2 issues.

    1) Since the compact menu isn’t an actual menu, I’m getting an error message on my menu area saying that I haven’t selected a menu.

This can be easily fixed by just choosing to add a display:none;' code to the .main-nav class of the given CSS file

    2) The compact menu, I don’t understand why, has a random padding-top applied to it which makes it look larger than it should.

The difficult part is this padding-top is applied directly on the HTML of the page (screenshot reference: https://i.imgur.com/Y03eVBO.png) instead of the CSS. Also, the value of this is dynamic and it changes on browser and screen size.

I want to do away with that padding so that it looks like it should in the demo. Can you please help me figure out what code changes I’ll need to make for this?

It looks like a JS is calling the size and I’m not that familiar with JS but I do know how to make changes. Let me know if you guys need any additional information. Help will be really appreciated ??
