• Hello !

I’ve been working on a site using a modified Tove theme-child, but I have a problem with it.
I’m using the events calendar shortcodes plugin, in order to display a calendar view. But the theme seems to be blocking it from loading its JS.

This is the website : https://beta.pol-n.org

Any ideas where it might come from ?

    Thanks !

I’ve discovered what might be the cause of the bug, but not the way to fix it…

When I use a different theme, the calendar widget appears fine, and the plugin folder is listed in the page sources. But when I use my tove-child theme (or just Tove, for the record), it does not, as if the theme does not properly lists the plugin, or doesn’t know to go fetch it.

Any ideas of why it might do that and how to fix it ? Should I use a must-use plugin ?

    Thanks !

    Hi @akuhn,

The “different theme” you switch to, is that also a block theme (Full-Site Editing theme)? It might be that the calendar plugin you’re using isn’t updated to work with block themes yet.

Try it with the new Twenty Twenty-Two default theme and see if you have the same issue.
