Theme break shortcode plugins?

  • Atahualpa theme seems to break several plugins that define shortcodes and load external javascript. e.g. “Mathjax Latex”,”Squelch Tabs and Accordions Shortcodes”.

    The site was updated from an earlier version of Atahualpa theme.

    Strangely, a new install of wordpress and Atahualpa theme does not have this issue, so I’m wondering if some setting from the prior version is the issue; if I switch to 2014 theme, the problem goes away.

    Note that Firefox render the mathml, but the latex isn’t being rendered by the mathjax plugin, nor are the tabs rendered properly.

    Fixed now. I had to reset the Atahualpa theme settings, and manually re-configure the options to my liking. Restoring a set of saved setting didn’t work – that just recreated the error.

    I think it likely that Atahualpa theme settings got broken or corrupted during an update.
