Theme broken when uploading with Filezilla SFTP

Hi There!

First time getting this error. The only way I can upload a theme currently is through SFTP. With that said, when I do upload it through SFTP via filezilla, the theme gets broken. I see broken images and when activated, there is no styling whatsoever. I tried doing some permission changes for the directories and files but still nothing has worked.

Anybody ever run into this issue?
