[Theme: Brunelleschi] post thumbnails on homepage grid

Hello, I am running a WP site with Brunellechi for a church in Italy and I would like each article summary shown on Home Page grid to have a thumbnail that is different from the main post image. I tried to set a featured image in the post but nothing happens and I dont’t know if I have to work with code or what else.
Could you suggest if there is a system to easily achieve this with Brunellechi?
