Theme Builder Blog templates not working

  • Hi, I’m presenting at a WordCamp on Saturday and would like to include your plugin in the demonstration however I cannot get the blog templates to work in the theme builder. Perhaps I have done it wrong? Here are the steps to replicate:

    1. Create a new Elementor template using the HTMega widgets for post title, content etc
    2. Assign the template as Single Blog and Blog Template in HT Builder settings
    3. Load the blog page and a single post page – the assigned template is not used ??

    Troubleshooting:

    • If the template is assigned as either Header or Footer template it works – so there’s no issue with the template widgits
    • I’ve tried different themes – no difference
    • I’ve turned off all other plugins – no difference

    I would be grateful if a solutions can be found as soon as possible.

    An update: I have found why and where it doesn’t work and have a simple code fix that works.
