Theme change eats up my content

  • I decided to change my blog theme with additional theme from Word Press Theme Directory. I uploaded my chosen one into my wp-content/themes directory and everything seemed ok. But when I changed the theme I lost all the content of the page. The only thing displaying on my blog page was the header. I’m having this problem with all the additional themes, but not with the default ones. Is there anything else I need to do to display the page properly? Please help. Thank you!

  • Exactly what themes are you using? Are you sure they are compatible with the latest version of WP?

    I tried Limau Orange and Techdesigns.co.uk 001 v1.0. How do I know about compatibility, where can I check that? I’m using 2.0 WordPress version.

    Sorry, the version I use is 2.0.2.
