• Hi

A change was recently made to the functions.php file of the site to remove the theme text in the footer of the site.

After saving this change, the site has now gone all white and access to the admin/dashboard is no longer available.

How to i get access to restore the backed up functions file?

    Thanks

  • You’ll have to go in via FTP or cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides. If you don’t have the appropriate login information, you’ll need to speak with your hosting provider. From there, you can upload a fresh copy of functions.php to your theme’s folder. Your host may also be able to restore functions.php from a backup.
