Theme changes in the ticker are lost.

    When making changes to my theme in the news ticker section, changes are kept for a few minutes and then are automatically reverted back to the previous changes.

    Further investigation shows that as long as I have the customize window open, published changes are kept. The minute I close the window it warns that I have not saved changes *which I have repeatedly* and then all of the changes are reverted back. I’ve see similar behavior in the fonts section.

    All of my changes made in the last hour are gone now. This is ridiculous.

    Called my hosting provider. Turns out they had an old version of php installed which was causing problems. They upgraded php to php7, fixed the ownership, and re-synched the main account password. It’s now working.
