[Theme: ColorWay] Child theme

Was trying to create a child theme by using color way as the parent. But an error appeared stating that it was unable to find certain files. Can a child theme be created using colorway as a parent? I’ve included a style.css file in a new directory and used the import rule in the file. Should there be other files included in the directory?
