[Theme: ColorWay] SEO

  • Hi,

    I’m using an older free version of Colorway (1.7.5). I’m nervous about upgrading to the latest version, because last time I tried it, it really messed up my formatting (which I tinkered with extensively in the coding).

    Here’s my question, I am really not doing well with google. I have an seo optimizer plugin installed and I’ve tried modifying the language of my site to point the spiders in the right direction, but nothing seems to be helping.

    Is this theme not very seo friendly? I’ve noticed the title headings aren’t actually text (some kind of image?). Could that be causing problems?

    Hello Jfk,

    Colorway theme works well in search engine, and we have tested it with all in one SEO plugin and it works well.

    SEO have too many factors.

    How old is your website and how much page your website contain. Are you getting proper backlinks for your keywords. Content on your website is original and much more..

    Colorway use Cufon in the heading that is not a big issue with Google as it scan you html text and can easily understand the heading part.
