So I recently decided to update my WordPress and Comicpress….biiiig mistake.

Ironically the thing I was worried about the most was updating my WordPress. That didn’t do anything, but updating the Comicpress was what destroyed everything. My comics aren’t showing up and the layout’s gone crazy (though I’m assuming I can fix the layout later).

I don’t remember what Comicpress version it used to be but it’s now updated to version 4.2.1…or so it says. When I look at “Storyline Structure” it says I’m using an older version still. Very confusing.

Also, when I edit the Comicpress Config to change the Comic catergory, blog category, archive folder, ect. it says this several times at the top, and then doesn’t change anything, it just stays on the default configuration:
Warning: array_splice() expects parameter 1 to be array, string given in /home/vermillion/www/www/daniel/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/comicpress-manager/comicpress_manager_admin.php on line 970
As well as this at the bottom of the list:
Warning: implode() [function.implode]: Invalid arguments passed in /home/vermillion/www/www/daniel/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/comicpress-manager/comicpress_manager_admin.php on line 974

All of my comic pages and posts seem to be there, I just can’t seem to get them to show up on the main page.

I actually made a backup of this site’s original database in my phpMyadmin, but I’m afraid to try and restore it. Will that even work or make things worse?

I’m feeling so dumb right now. Should’ve just been content with the WordPress update working and not touched the Comicpress theme. XO

*sigh* Nevermind. I’m sure someone may have been able to help, but I had considered switching to ComicEasel anyway, so I’ll just do that, I’m too impatient. Even if migrating my archives in this state isn’t possible.

(My archives aren’t insanely ginormous, so if I can’t it’s not a huge deal.)

So…while not really resolved I’m marking it as such. Sorry for wasting space. XP
