    After struggling with install I found deactivating all plugins and reactivating allowed it to work. I can activate, see it on back end and set up… But now I can’t get it to work on the front end. I can see it’s a theme issue, since switching to default 2015 reveals the calendar. Anything else just shows the word ‘demo’ (which is the one event I put in to test with).
    Has anyone had any luck getting it to work on a theme based on this:
    HTML5 Blank WordPress Theme https://html5blank.com/
    It’s a custom theme but I see evidence this is what it is based on.

    Hi,

    Thanks for using our plugin. I can try to help out here, but we are limited in supporting theme compatibility issues.

    Having said that, does the theme have any coding to modify the output of the archives?

    Our plugin creates the views in the archives and that could be the source of this conflict.

    Thanks

    All the archive file has on it is: ` <h1><?php _e( ‘Archives’, ‘html5blank’ ); ?></h1>

    <?php get_template_part(‘loop’); ?>

    <?php get_template_part(‘pagination’); ?>`

    I tried adding in the code from a default theme (replacing the name of course)out of desperation but it did not work. :/

    For whatever its worth advancedcustomfields plugin appears to be somehow hacked into the functions files. not sure if its relevant or not but I’m suspicious of it.
