Theme Conflicts since 2.0.0

Since updating to 2.0.0 certain parts of the website’s homepage stopped loading. We can see this happen on all client sites using the Avada theme, and also on a client site using the kava theme by crocoblocks. Happy to provide staging sites for both themes for your troubleshooting.

Hey @martynmjones – below is the status report for the website running on the kava by crocoblocks theme but we can provide it for the Avada theme too where we’re seeing the same issue.

It’s important to mention that the issue only affects logged out users.

We’ve actually done some more testing here. It’s a conflict of several plugins. The issue appears with your plugin’s version 2.0.0 and above, the Siteground Speed Optimizer ‘Minify JavaScript Files’ option enabled, and WooCommerce enabled. If you disable your plugin and keep ‘Minify JavaScript Files’ and WooCommerce enabled, the issue disappears. If you keep your plugin enabled, ‘Minify JavaScript Files’ enabled, but disable WooCommerce the issue disappears. If you keep your plugin enabled, WooCommerce enabled, but ‘Minify JavaScript Files’ disabled the issue disappears. But it only started with your plugin version 2.0.0 and above regardless of the other plugins’ versions. It also appears across other themes, and looking at other comments in this and other threads many people are experiencing the issue who might be using different or no performance plugins.

Thanks for sharing details of the plugins found to be conflicting with Google Analytics for WooCommerce. We have been able to reproduce reports and are currently working on an update to make the extension reliable when using different optimisation plugins including Siteground Speed Optimizer.
