[Theme: Custom Community] image attachment size

The image attachment normally appears full size by default in most themes, however in CC it always appears as a thumbnail/featured image size. I couldn’t find a way to change it so I used a slightly modified attachment template from the twenty-ten theme and now the images are full size, as expected, with the size adjustable through the template code.
Does anyone know if there’s a way to change the size of the attachment image with the default CC attachment template? I’d like to keep my template files “stock” as much as possible.
