  • On the second page, if you go to Theme Options > General, is Custom CSS enabled?

Or what are you using to load/input the custom css?

I’ve used the Jetpack custom CSS Alexander – I don’t have an option to enable Custom CSS in any of the Theme sections.

Also I have selected a static page for a welcome page but it keeps bringing up posts

Since you have /2014/ in the URL, it seem to go to the post archive for 2014.

Try going to Settings > Permalinks and press save once to update. May be a permalink issue going on there.

    Done that still goes back to posts page (but yes I could be as it’s on a tester domain before going live… Which I am kind of ready to do if it wasn’t for the CSS );

You want the website home to be in /2014/, correct?

In Settings > General, make sure that:
    – WordPress Address (URL)
    – Site Address (URL)

    Are set correctly.

Same here not working, just seems to keep refreshing. Anyone have any ideas?

Did you enable the first checkbox on the styling page, “Enable to use the options below”?

Thanks for the response Alexander, but I am unsure where you that is. Could you elaborate a bit more on it’s location. Thanks

Theme Options > Styling. The very first checkbox at the top of that page.

    Dynamic Styles
“Enable to use the options below” – “Turn styling options on / off”

Make sure you are running the latest version of the theme.

I know this sounds crazy, but I cannot find that anywhere. I have went to Appearance–> Theme Options and found nothing like that. I am on the latest version of WordPress. The only tabs I have in Theme Options are Basic Settings, Home Page, Store Settings, Styles, Social Network, and Support. Am I in the wrong area?

Sounds like you have another theme. This is for “Hueman“.

    I appreciate your help

@basicblogtalk – this thread is already marked as Resolved. You should start a new thread so others will know it’s a new issue.

I don’t know what happened to my WP – ALL themes can’t be customized, widgets can’t be added or customized. Can anyone help pls? I tried to follow Alexander’s advice but there is NOTHING when I try to customize a theme…
It all used to work fine… Even tried to add a new theme – NOTHING SHOWS UP at all…
