Theme customization – Static page option does not work

    Hello,

    I am using twenty twelve fore testing purposes.

    I want a static page as my home page. I built a specific page for that purpose. When I configure the static page with my specific page from the theme personalization menu, the preview shows that it works. When I commit the change and go to the web site, the static page does not appear (last article appears). When I select another page as the static page, the same thing happens.

    Help!

    Rather then doing it in the theme customiser, if you go to Settings -> Reading and set the static page there, does it work?

    No, but now I know why: a static landing page must be translated in all the defined languages. I receievd the error message by using the function you mentioned, but nothing is mentioned when using the personnalization function, which is confusing.
