• Good morning. I have a recently setup WordPress site, it was a subdomain at wp.domain.com

I followed the directions for copying htaccess and the index file, as well as changing the site address. The site loads fine at the top level, but when I go to the admin page and click to customize the theme – the toolbar on the left loads but the login prompt comes up. I can login successfully but it just keeps prompting. I’ve tried through multiple browsers but no success.

This only started once I moved to the toplevel. If I change back to the subdomain it loads the customize fine.

Is there a setting I am missing?

To add it looks like more than just the theme. Some icons are replaced with squares and a P.O.S plugin is doing the same thing as far as constantly redirecting to the login page.

Hi, I’m the last arrived here, and a completely newbe of wordpress, so I’m not sure I’m telliing you the right thing, anyway I’ll try: maybe you are in the wrong forum. In the welcome message you can read:

“Before you post, make sure you’re posting about a self hosted www.ads-software.com site and NOT a WordPress.com site. If you’re not sure, read WordPress.com vs www.ads-software.com.
These forums are meant for the core application, themes, and plugins that are distributed on www.ads-software.com.”

I suppose there is a different forum for wordpress.com. You may want to post there.
    I hope this helps.
