Theme Customizer Tab Keeps Looping

  • WordPress Devs,

    I am using the absolute latest version of WordPress which is 3.9.2; Everything works great EXCEPT the theme customizer tab. No matter what theme is installed, the tab goes into this constant loop in the browser preventing me from being able to make changes. The only way I have been able to change anything in the themes is if they have a direct option available when that theme is activated.

    At first I thought this loop was happening because I was using third party themes with bad code, but unfortunately this bug is even affecting the default themes that are included with WordPress. Can one of the devs PLEASE look into this ASAP?

  • What exactly do you mean by looping? Do the options keep getting written out to the screen so you start getting multiple copies? Or does the browser keep refreshing itself after a short time? Did you try deactivating all of your plugins?

    Thanks for replying @crouchingbruin! Yes the browser window keep refreashing itself. That tab never loads at all because of the refreshing. I haven’t tried disabling the plugins though. Let me check that and see what happens.
