Theme demo previewer

    Ok, I thought I had posted this before. I’ve seen several sites that have a demo/index.php?preview=themename and I’m curious what they’re doing for that. Is it something as simple as a little bit of php in a page or is it a plug-in?

    Well, you are talking about two (2) different things.

    demo – usually is another WP install in a subfolder named… “demo”;

    as for the “preview” part – there are plugins (like the theme switcher) that can help you to offer multiple themes for the visitors to switch.

    The two things can go together or each on its own…
