• I am finding it difficult to do simpler things like-
    1. Changing font style and size
    2. Removing sidebar
    3. Removing static content from the footer etc

Usually in other themes this options are available customising tab but not in this one.

Is their some docs available somewhere I can follow to work with it.

  • Hi @thebeardedguy,

Is their some docs available somewhere I can follow to work with it.

Absolutely! Have a look at the Gazette theme documentation here:

    https://wordpress.com/theme/gazette

    Changing font style and size

Gazette doesn’t have a font option in the Customiser so this change would need to be made with CSS.

    Removing sidebar

Gazette doesn’t support a full width layouts like many other themes – which offer the option to choose a template from the editor.

Removing static content from the footer etc

If you have added content to the footer from Appearance > Customise > Theme Options > Footer Content, you should be able to remove it from there.

Is the gazette theme of WordPress.com same as www.ads-software.com?

    Hi @thebeardedguy,

It’s the same theme but each version has been created for that particular platform (WordPress.com or www.ads-software.com) — there are differences between the two platforms from a coding/development perspective.
