• I have a theme I downloaded – bumbleberry. I want to add drop down menus but have no clue how to do it. Can someone walk me through exactly what to look for and how to do it?

my site is self hosted at https://www.scrapanddash.com

    Thank you!

Where do I put the code? I am really confused by all this. It should be easier I’m sure, but I’m not very tech saavy. I appreciate you’re help. I need to know exactly what to look for so I can enter the code in the right places.

The link I gave you tells exactly what to write, and where to put it. The very first sentence tells you exactly where you put it, and the very first gray box is example code of what to put. I can’t get any more clear than the codex can.

I understand that. It says in the function menu. WHERE in the function menu do I add the code? It doesn’t work for me. This is new so it would helpful if you were helpful.

twindle, you’re going to have to learn a little more about PHP and template files before you can figure it out. It’s not necessarily about just copying and pasting the code into the right place. I don’t know enough to walk you through it, but maybe someone else does.

It says in the function menu.

No, it doesn’t. it says in your functions.php file. If your theme doesn’t have a functions.php file, the create one.

So it would helpful if you were helpful.

Wow. And with that, that’s all the help you will get from me. You’re very welcome.
