Hello! I really like this theme and like how the default header text has a transparent background. With how good this looked, I created a transparent .png file and tried using it as a header (instead of the text) but it doesn’t end up being transparent… I get a BLACK background instead.

Can anyone help and point me in the right direction on how to be able to use this theme with a transparent png header where I get the transparency instead of the blackness? ??

    Thanks!

I got thinking about it and I remembered that the black appeared not when it was on the site but when it did its uploading and cropping. I was off by a few pixels and didn’t think much of it but then thought maybe the cropping process did not maintain the transparency. I was right. WOOHOO! I uploaded a .png file exactly the size of the custom header size and it didn’t try to crop it and therefore it worked! Making this site for my dad for Christmas. I think he is really going to like it. It is only a simple mod of the background and header image but I think it looks pretty cool.

So, for anybody wanting to maintain a transparent header image just make sure the image is the exact same size as what you have for your header ??

    Thanks!!!
