Theme Editor doesn’t work in 2.1

    I upgraded to 2.1 a couple of weeks ago and my theme editor hasn’t worked since then. (I’ve used every version of WordPress since 1.5 and I’ve never had this problem before.)

    Here is what happens:

    I select a form from the menu to edit (like Main Index template, Comments, Footer, etc.) and *nothing changes* — the editor never brings up the form for editing. If I want to make any changes I have to upload the revised form via FTP, which is a pain in the butt sometimes.

    I’ve tried switching themes several times, but no luck.

    Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.

    Works for me. Maybe you didn’t upload all the wordpress files correctly?

    Ok, issue resolved. For anyone else struggling with the same problem, try de-activating ALL of your plugins… close your browser… open it again… and re-activating all of the plugins you normally use.

    I went through them one at a time, check for editor functionality after each activation. I was never able to pinpoint the troublesome one, but for some reason it works just fine now.

    I despise upgrades. *eyeroll* ??
