Theme editor not working

Have you checked your site’s error logs for clues?

I’ve investigated to the best of my ability and knowledge with no such avail. I have also tried the suggested “disable plugin” and checking but unfortunately did not work either.

Can you advise if the “editor” option was removed from the upgrade?

Seems very weird that it would disappear.. Let’s hope someone can shed some light onto the issue.

t-p is a respected regular member of the support forum community and did provide you with the correct answer to your question – the “editor” option was not removed in WordPress 3.5. So this is an issue that is specific to your site. Were there any entries in your error logs? Have you reviewed https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/troubleshooting-wordpress-35-master-list

Thanks Esmi, I was not disputing t-p reputation whatsoever. I have followed the master list with no such luck in retrieving the editor option.

Again, any help is much appreciated.

What theme are you working with?

Beta from Theme Forest.

Theme Forest is not listed in the WP free theme directory.

You need to contact your theme’s vendor.

Thanks t-p but I’m sure you can appreciate that nothing from the theme side has changed other than I upgraded to wordpress 3.5

Every bit of functionality including the theme, prior to the upgrade worked seamlessly without error.

-ask them if they have update compatible with WP 3.5

Tell me, this is the same editor that is used to modify plugin code? Surely I would not have to contact every plugin developer that I use to ask them for an update?
