Theme editor: Sorry, that file cannot be edited.

    When I try to access the theme file editor I get this message:
    Sorry, that file cannot be edited.

    All plugins deactivated, Child theme deactivated, Cache deleted, WordPress version 6.5.5., different browser used.

    I am running wordpress under localhost wampserver, Windows 11. A couple of days ago everything was fine.

    Are you able to assist in running this patch on Windows or can you provide a patch for this as well?

    As you can see in the thread you shared, I don’t think this is theme related. As a workaround, you might want to go to the File Manager and edit the file directly using your text editor you have on your computer.

    It is not resolved but indeed a wordpress bug and no issue of any specific theme. Therefore I mark this as requested as resolved here.
