Theme Editor – unable to update

Running version 2.8 hosted with GoDaddy on a Windows server.

When I got to edit any file of the theme, (*header.php, stylesheet, footer.php) and click the update button, it reverts back to the default file.

I’ve tried several different themes and I have the same issue of not being able to update the theme!

Any help would be appreciated!
