Theme Editor will not update

  • My theme editor will not update. I can make changes say in home.php

    Click update.

    Says successful.

    Go to my ftp client and check it out.

    No changes made.

    What gives. Why is it note updating ?

    If your theme editor shows that your update is successful then it must be updated. Clear the cache of your system and have a check.

    No it is not updated !

    Don’t believe everything WordPress tells you.

    I used the view/edit function in ftp FileZilla to check it out.
    FileZilla downloaded the file and sent it to notepad.

    And no the the file was not updated.
