    Hi,

I just noticed a peculiar new problem. On certain pages and posts, certain portions of the theme, the white background box, the menu bar button color, and the top and bottom bars are disappearing, leading to some misalignment of the elements. This is not happening on all pages and posts, just on some. For example:

The About page looks fine …
but the site map does not.

This post is formatted correctly …

    this one isn’t.

This is happening in several browsers. I don’t know exactly when this started, but it’s a new issue. (I was on the sitemap yesterday and didn’t notice anything amiss.) I am using a child theme off the latest version of Frontier, 1.1.3.

Any ideas? This is a new one on me.

Have you tried clearing WP-Super-Cache’s page cache? The timestamps on the pages with errors indicate that they are actually caches from last year.

I’ll give that a shot. WP-Super-Cache is running in preload mode, which is a lot faster, but may be hanging on to what was otherwise a temporary glitch.

Those pages/posts don’t seem to be having that error when I view them while logged in, which supports the idea that it’s a cache problem. (WP-Super-Cache is set to not cache for known users.) I cleared the cache and am having it restart the preloading; let’s see if that does the trick.

That must have fixed it. The pages look fine now.

Okay, that did it. Thanks for the suggestion — that obviously hadn’t occurred to me!
