Theme error

  • Hi,

    I installed the theme Ascent and received this error message:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/ashleyma/public_html/wp-content/themes/ascent/options-framework/includes/class-options-framework-admin.php on line 58

    When I try to view my site ashleymaillouxdesign.com, I receive this error message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function _wp_filter_build_unique_id() in /home/ashleyma/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 84

    I am not able to login to my wordpress admin section or do anything at all.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Did you download the below version theme?
    https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/theme/ascent.1.0.8.zip

    Actually I have fixed the below error on the latest version theme(1.0.8)

    Thanks for getting back to me.

    I downloaded the new version and uploaded it, but I still seem to be getting the same error.

    I’m still not able to view my admin dashboard and I’m not sure what to do. This is the error that is still showing:

    Update the theme to 1.0.9 then try.
