• On my home page I have a list of recent posts shown. At the end of the list, the “Older Entries” button should take me to the older posts, but instead it shows the same new posts, even though the URL changes.
If I change the evolve blog -> pagination type setting to “Infinite Scroll”, after scrolling down I see the same new posts infinitely repeating (still not showing older posts).
I updated evolve to the newest version and tested it in Chrome and Safari. The problem remains in both browsers for both the old and new version.

Is there a fix for this problem?

    Thank you!

  • Hi,

Try changing your permalink structure to other available standard WordPress permalink structure.

If that does not work, try disabling one plugin at a time to find out which plugin is conflicting. A plugin could be affecting the WordPress post query.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
thank you for the answer. I tried disabling plugins one by one and also disabling all, I also tried all the standard permalinks (with disabled plugins). That made me fix a problem with permalinks (I didn’t have the .htaccess file), but unfortunately it did not solve my problem.
Do you have any other suggestions?

Thank you for all your help!

    Hi,

Sorry, I have never encounter this issue before.

One question, If you don’t mind, Are all your posts published?

    Thanks!

    Yes, they are.
You can even see them all in the posts slider at the top of the page.

    Hi,

Sorry, there’s nothing I can do to help you now.

You need to hire a developer to log into your site, as well as your server to troubleshoot your issue.

    Thanks!

    I accidentally found a solution!
I will post it here just in case someone else encounters this.

In settings -> reading I had the “Front page displays” option set to a static page (my front page, which is empty). After I changed this setting to “Your latest posts”, everything is working!

    Thank your for your help!

You saved my life thank you
