I use Evolve for four months and I appreciate it.
But, since the last theme update, I’ve lost the Evolve own Custom Menu and I have a problem in the Front Page Content Boxes : I wanted to write a few words in one of the Content Box Description, and I’ve got this warning :

<b>Warning</b>: htmlspecialchars() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in <b>/homepages/18/d200447733/htdocs/wp-includes/formatting.php</b> on line <b>3436</b>

And as my Evolve own custom menu don’t appear, I can’t use my last options save.
I had to unactivate this box because the warning appeared in the public home page.
    Sorry for my bad English
    and thanks for help me.

  • Hi,

There is no problem with menu in the latest Theme.
Check that you have assigned a menu, in your WordPress Admin -> Appearance -> Menu

As for that warning, I have no idea what it is, because it’s not pointing to a Theme folder, it’s point to a function in a core WordPress file. Just set WP_DEBUG to false and you will not see these warnings.

    Thanks!

    Hi,
It was a good idea, thanks !
Finally a new upgrade of WP 4.3 fixed the problem : the warning disappeared.
    Thanks
    Best regards
