[Theme: Evolve] website shows up on half of mobile phone in portrait position

Evolve theme is woking beautifully on desktop and on 10inch tablets but on mobile phones only shows up on half of the screen. The website display is confined to the left side of the screen in portrait . Please assist me with as simple explanation as you can because I have no knowledge of coding and has been reading through 52 pages of support help but does not see anything related to my issues. Thank you all.
Can anyone please let me know how to let the theme be responsive to mobile phones. I have been searching all over the internet for a solution but no luck. I reinstalled the theme and buddypress and my other plugins are deactivated. half of my screen is white the webpage does not extend to fill out the screen and the images and text are extremely small you need a magnifying glass to see anything. Thats the best description I think I can give.
