First Image not generate in Index and Archive Page

    Hi.
    I am interested FontFolio Themes. This theme will generate image from first image in index and archive page. I’ve activated this theme on free site in wordpress.com. Runing well like I wanted.

    But when I implemented in self hosting, the image not showing in index and archive page. Did I miss to setting something? How I fix this? Thank you.

    That looks like a WordPress.COM theme that has not been made available in the www.ads-software.com repo yet. I’ve added a tag to bring this to the attention of some (really nice) people who may be able to help you.

    The Fontfolio theme is designed this way:

    To get the most from Fontfolio‘s grid-based design on the blog index and archives pages, you can assign Featured Images to your posts. If no Featured Image is present, the theme will pull the post’s first attached image instead. If no images are attached to the post, the theme will pull the first image from the content of your post.

    Could you let me know specifically which part of this behaviour isn’t working as you’d expect, so I can try to replicate it on my test site? Thanks.

    Thank you very much for the response.

    Font Folio working perfectly that I wanted on wordpress.com. But this theme not availaible on www.ads-software.com.

    For self hosted, the theme is provided in 2 version on publisher site. Free and paid. After I’ve read more detail, the free theme is not responsive. Cause there are a lot choice of responsive themes and free out there, I want to leave this theme and try the others.

    I assume for this case closed.

    I will ask to help again later in the forum if I find the problem later.

    Just in case it helps someone else, WordPress.com provides the free version of Fontfolio for self-hosted sites in the sidebar here, where it says “Download Fontfolio for your self-hosted WordPress site.” This version is a bit different from the versions you may have downloaded from elsewhere:
