Theme for Writing – Good Image handling

  • Hey Guys

    I wanted to know if anyone knew a good free theme for a writing site/Blog that handles images well, someone else had one that apparently had popup boxes for the image settings but I cannot find it.

    I am currently using Twenty Eleven but it hasn’t got a good interface for images and when I embed them they don’t seem right.

    Something like the one used on this blog (the owner doesn’t know which one it is, and I think it was a paid for version. (https://www.jeanneolivier.com/)

    columbo1977, from what it sounds like you may want to look for a plugin to handle the images rather than a theme. There are some themes on the repository that have built in functionality that you seek but can’t really think of a few of the top of my head. If you haven’t already checked out the Themes search you can also narrow things down by using the tag filter.

    This sounds like typical issue of users not familliar with the How To manage images in WP.

    Media management in WP is confusing and in need of improvement, but once you get to know it as is, you will be able to display images in the theme as you want.
