Theme: forever – custom header / footer

    Hi all, I’m using the jetpack edit css to modify.
    But what I want to do is put the facebook and twitter logo on the footer, and to put a custom text like this:

    click here for more info | Contact us

    to the right side of the header, while the logo is on the left side?
    currently I have the logo on the left side.

    I believe I have 2 ways to do this?
    #1 create a child template, and modify the .php, and also add some css into the editor?
    #2 find a custom header / footer plugin?

  • You could definitely do either of the above. Of the two, I would probably go with a child theme plus custom css. That way, if you wanted to make other template changes later on, you’d be able to do so with your child theme. ??

    I’m working on a child theme now, but if you know of any plugins??
    or examples of custom work?

    I’d hate to ask, but also, the footer is lower, and should be closer to the top as well. if you know that variable, that would be double sweet!
