My site has been up for months but when I updated recently, the formatting is completely gone. It now looks like an incredibly generic, unformatted blog and I can’t seem to figure out any way to get back to where I was. The dashboard still says I’m running the Prologue theme too and it’s incredibly frustrating.

How were you making formatting changes prior to the update? I.e. were you using a Custom CSS plugin for CSS modifications?

I was just using the dashboard. What I’m finding is that if I change to another theme, the site itself takes on the appearance of said theme. However, when I go back to Prologue, it’s gone. I can’t utilize Prologue.

If you’re not aware of any backups that took place of your theme files, maybe you can try contacting your hosting providers to see if they took backups of your files.

Where did you get this theme from?

It was WPZoom, pretty sure it has been retired at this point, which sucks. Site just totally jacked and I was really happy with that theme. Wish there was a way to get it back.

Have you tried contacting the theme’s author about it? From the looks of it they may be able to help: https://www.wpzoom.com/support/
