Theme hangs on homepage, infinitely loading spinner

  • Reproduction scenario (only happened once, have not been able to return to working installation with this theme since)

    – Install fresh WordPress installation
    – Install Minimal Blocks
    – Delete all pages
    – Delete all posts and comments
    – Visit homepage

    I get an infinitely loading spinner.

    Restoring deleted page and posts does not resolve the issue.
