Theme has no author

Pages don’t show their author, but posts do (right below the title)…

My posts don’t show the author either, under the title or anywhere.

I assume you are the only author on your blog, is that right?

Yes I am. The author (me) shows up when I do the rich snippet tool on one of my posts but not on the actual post.

If it’s a “single author” site, then TwentyThirteen hides the author via CSS by default.

Just add this CSS rule to your site:

.single-author .entry-meta .author {
	display: inline;
}

Where do I add that?

If in the editor, where in the editor?

I recommend Jetpack’s Custom CSS module, or any other custom css plugin. That way the changes will persist during theme updates.
