Theme Hemingway-Header picture always streched

    Hi all, i am new to WP and i have a problem with the theme “Hemingway”.

    I use WP in ver. 5.9.2

    If i replace the original Header-Picture [the top pic] the new picture is always streched. Is there a way to fix that behavior? The actual header-pic got a size of
    1280×416 but its shown too big because its also streched, while the theme say use a picture with the size 1280×416.

    Could somebody maybe help me fix that?

    Hi @anlino thank you for your answer. I have already found that Topic from the link after more research ??

    Can i please you for a favor? Would you be so kind and write an update for “Hemingway” where Users got then the option to enable or disable the streching?
    I dont know if that would be alot work or not. Sadly i have no skills in programming or coding.
    Or is it possible, that you only release a new header.php + style.css [if that would be enough] on GitHub, so a User of the theme can replace the original files and will be able then to disable the feature?
    That would be super nice if it is not too much work for you and you would do that.
